As a costumer, I am fascinated by a surreal, innovative aesthetic. I believe that the character needs to be strongly expressed, and in the fantasy genre, in which I’ve primarily designed, that anything is possible. I seek to repurpose and recycle clothing items, or even costume with items not typically used as clothing.
I costumed 132 children in Hippodrome’s Summer Spectacular 2015.
I designed two costumes for the southeastern premiere of “The ‘Simpsons’ Play,” Mr. Burns: A Post-Electric Play.
I created a number of transformation costumes and special makeup effects for performance artists and bands in Gainesville, FL.
I developed a lot of new talent for Gainesville, including Dr. Sinn\\\\\\\'s Freak Island Musical Sideshow, Breakaway Burlesque, several community theatre contributors, and several young creatives at the Hippodrome Summer Spectacular theatre camp.
I am a prize-winning academic author, and have had my journalistic work published in several outlets.
I have collaborated with and fundraised for dozens of local, regional, and national non-profits.
I singlehandedly audited thousands of pages of content for a college website, to transform into an ADA-compliant masterpiece.
I produced and organized dozens of empowering art shows and theatre productions in Gainesville, Florida.
