I am participating in Script Frenzy this year, a free event in which writers churn out a screenplay, teleplay, stage play, or graphic novel during the month of April. I actually started the screenplay I’m working on before April 1, but it was something I had the idea for in 2009, began writing in 2010, felt frustrated with and put aside as a no-go project, then picked up again when I started doing some drafting for screenplay ideas back in March. Once April rolled around, I picked up my old draft and started rewriting, then REALLY writing. I’m a little behind as of the moment, but when I get back to it tomorrow I’ll more than make up for it. This screenplay, which is an experiment of sorts, will hopefully be something I can get produced–not sure which approach I want to take yet for that.
